Spacious Mountain Cabin 3 King Beds with Game Room and Hot Tub
Newly built 2022 retreat, 15 min from Pigeon Forge Parkway
Dollywood all day, a shuffleboard rematch all night, and room for everyone in between
About
Star Ridge Cabin is a three-bedroom cabin built in 2022 in Bluff Ridge Acres, a quiet Sevierville neighborhood of big wooded lots and very little traffic. Every bedroom has a king bed. Upstairs, a game loft has air hockey, shuffleboard and a two-player arcade. Out back, the hot tub sits on a private deck under string lights. Dollywood is about 20 minutes away and the Pigeon Forge Parkway about 15, so tired kids are home before anyone gets cranky. Bring the dogs too. They're welcome here.
Good to know
What makes this one different A game loft built for first times: air hockey, a shuffleboard table with a bowling pin set, and a two-player arcade Three king bedrooms plus two queen sleeper sofas, so ten people never end up on top of each other Close to the fun, quiet at night: about 20 minutes to Dollywood and 15 to the Parkway, on a peaceful wooded lot A private back deck with a hot tub, string lights and a table for dinner outside Dogs welcome, up to two, with bowls, a leash, towels, blankets and treats waiting A week of firsts, and a cabin to come home to Coffee in the trees. The back deck is the spot in the morning. Two mugs, the woods all around, and nothing to hear but birds and the dogs settling in. It's the calm before the big day, and the grown-ups tend to claim it together before anyone else is up. Then breakfast. The table seats eight and the kitchen counter takes four more, so nobody eats standing up. Out for the big stuff. Maybe it's the first Dollywood trip, 20 minutes away, and the first real coaster for somebody. Maybe a day on the Parkway, 15 minutes down the road. Maybe the Apple Barn for lunch, or a long drive out to Cades Cove, about an hour, for the bears and the open fields. However the day goes, the drive home is short, on curvy mountain roads that never get too steep. Back for the loft. Everyone comes home with energy left, and the loft is where it goes. Somebody learns shuffleboard for the first time and wants a rematch. The bowling pins come out. Air hockey turns into a tournament, and the arcade settles the tiebreakers. That's the part of the trip the kids will still be talking about at school. Evenings on the deck. The charcoal grill handles dinner, and the outdoor table means everyone eats together under the string lights. Later, the hot tub. The kids get it first, and the grown-ups take over once they're in bed. Keep an eye on the windows, too. Bears pass through these woods, and more than one family has spotted one from the main bedroom. For whoever planned the whole thing. The main-floor king suite has its own bath with a whirlpool tub and a separate shower. After a full day at Dollywood, that tub is the reward. Down the hall, the family room has an electric fireplace and a queen sleeper sofa for the last ones still awake. The dogs come too. They're part of the family, so they come on the trip. Up to two dogs, with bowls, a leash, towels, poop bags, treats, their own blankets to lie on, and cleanup spray for the muddy-paw days. There's a small grassy area in the front yard for quick walks on a leash. Where everyone sleeps Main floor: king bedroom with its own bath (whirlpool tub and separate shower) and a smart TV Main floor: family room with a queen sleeper sofa, electric fireplace, smart TV and DVD player Upstairs: two king bedrooms, each with a smart TV Upstairs loft: game room with a queen sleeper sofa and smart TV 3 bedrooms · 3 full baths · sleeps 10 Bathrooms: the private bath in the main-floor suite, a second full bath on the main floor with a walk-in shower and the laundry, and a full bath upstairs with a tub and shower. Star Ridge sits among the trees, close enough to everything that a forgotten sweatshirt is a quick trip, and quiet enough that the deck feels miles away from the Parkway. Dollywood is about 20 minutes away, and the Pigeon Forge Parkway with its shows, restaurants and go-karts is about 15. The Apple Barn is about 13 minutes away. Walmart, Publix and the outlets are 15 to 20 minutes away for supplies. Gatlinburg is 35 to 40 minutes away, and Cades Cove is about an hour, worth the drive for a full day in the national park. Good to know Check-in is 4pm, and check-out is 10am. Pets: up to 2 dogs, well-behaved, house-trained, vaccinated and on flea and tick prevention. The pet fee is $125. There's no fenced yard, so dogs stay on a leash outside. Getting here: curvy mountain roads, paved and not too steep. In winter, 4-wheel drive is strongly recommended. Construction next door: a new cabin is being built on the neighboring lot, so there may be daytime construction noise for now. Water: the cabin runs on well water, so bottled water is a good idea during a power outage. Security cameras at the entry points only. No smoking, no parties or events. Children and infants are welcome. Cancellation: full refund if you cancel 14 or more days before check-in. Cancellations within 14 days of check-in are non-refundable. What families say "We had 2 infants and a dog, plus 7 other people, and we were never on top of each other. The back balcony is the best spot for morning coffee."
